This is a new post. just writing shit for the shit of it. we'll see how this looks on the website. If we can set specific sizes and fonts to keep with the theme of dirtynastynoun.com, we can post from blogger. Hopefully, this would make it easier to post pictures and stuff, too.

Welcome

Thanks for clicking in, whoever you are. I'd like to first take a moment to explain what's going on here. My name is Dustin Friedhart. I started a band with my friends Anthony Baiocchi (bass), Ryan Bougher (drums)and Mickey Lupa (flute) several years back. We call ourselves Dirty Nasty Noun and we are at the point where we have accumulated enough material for a couple of albums. Whether our stuff is good or not isn't important right now. Unless you think we're really, really good. Which we are.

Yeah. I can be cocky, too. But only when I'm on the internet. The goal is to transfer this false sense of hubris to the stage in order to deliver the ultimate package to our fans. After all, talent can draw an audience, but arrogance can pack the house.

All seriousness aside, we're good and getting better. The goal here is to entertain you folks while we start making a concerted effort to record our songs. Because we love you so much, we created a real website, with a real blog that we're hoping you will really read so that way you know when you will be rewarded with some real tracks (for a nominal fee ;) Until then, we will all have to grin and bear the lo-fi collection of recordings from past shows and practices. They're not terrible, in a good bootleg kind of way. 

Once again, thanks for checking out our site. Don't be a stranger. We'll be keeping the blog fresh with posts from individual band members. If something strikes you as terribly offensive, Anthony wrote it. But, be cool ... This is the internet. I'm sure you've come across more horrendous things by now.
